Start your day with a historical walking tour with highlights including Dublin Castle and the medieval city walls, magnificent architecture of Dublin’s golden age in Georgian Dublin, the iconic Ha’penny bridge over the river Liffey, 400 year old Trinity college, the bohemian atmosphere in the melting pot of Temple Bar and of course walk in the footsteps of the Easter Rising in it´s centenary year and discover the city that fought the empire.
Along the way we´ll visit some of Dublin’s world famous pubs. This tour includes only the most loved and authentic of Dublin´s pubs, absolutely no tourist traps. A hearty pub lunch of Guinness stew, bacon n cabbage or the best fish n chips in the world will go down well with another pint of Guinness.
And we’ll even teach you how to pour the perfect pint at our Guinness Workshop. Our Guinness connoisseurs will bring you behind the bar of an authentic Dublin pub and guide you through the pouring process before leading you in a Guinness tasting. You’ll learn all about the beer, the family and the funny habits of locals and their pints of Guinness. This is a totally unique experience which you’ll love, and you’ll be showing everyone the photos.
Then, equipped with your unique Irish Folk Songbook you’ll sing along with our professional musicians who will also teach you how to play ancient Irish instruments like the bodhrán and the spoons. This is 100% participation. You’ll sing, play and dance. Yes, dance. We’ll teach you some Irish dancing and after your Guinness you’ll be riverdancing your way back to the ship.
